Here are some key takeaways from the year 2020. Despite it being a tough year, there is always something we can learn,
Start small, learn to crawl and master that then move on to standing, allow room for stumbling and falling, take it one step at a time, one day at a time, one week at a time.
Focus on one goal or project and build yourself a piece at a time. Do not be in such a hurry to juggle every project at once, else you drop them all.
Know that you are valued and needed.
“There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds.”

“So how can I show up for myself today?” Is a question I recently started asking myself and being conscious of how I can show up for myself has been really helpful, so here are some of my tips.
Even if you say “life happens” or we are going with the flow, there needs to be a level of self-awareness in the flowing with the wind. I am all for flexibility in life but be aware of where you are bending and shifting towards and there should be a carriage of lessons and experiences as you go on in life.
Do not be so quick to knock 2020 off, you still have 4 months to make it your best year yet. 2020 can still be your ‘despite the odds’ years. Here are some lessons that I have learnt from this year so far.
A LITTLE REMINDER THAT YOU ARE IT. YOU HAVE IT. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS SHOW UP FOR YOURSELF.
I felt the need to get a bit personal and share some struggles I have been having when it comes to being myself. Hopefully, this post is helpful to someone somewhere someday.
ENJOY
STAY SHINING.
REMEMBER YOU ARE AMAZING AND YOU ARE LOVED.
You need to know and understand yourself, what drives you, what are your values, what principles do you live by? What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Get to know yourself, understand who you are, and what you have. This will allow you to have confidence in yourself. You can not be confident in something you do not know or trust, the same thing applies to you.
