THE DANGER OF SAFETY
Stop over analyzing and just do it. Do not get too comfortable in one spot, do not be decieved by the false security of “safety” to the point where you fail to grow. Do not play it safe, step out of the nirm and just do it.
A personal space to express myself in writing

It is so easy to forget how awesome you are in a world where everyone is “#livingmybestlive” on the internet. But I need you to tell yourself each day that you are not a mistake, and the fact that you still have air in your lungs means you have a significance.
DO NOT EVER DOUBT YOUR WORTH.

When was the last time you looked in the mirror and said “You are beautiful and smart and precious and wondeful. You My darling are amazing”

This is not an offensive poem, but a call to reality, those little comments and reactions to lightskinned people as though they are counterfeits.
DO NOT JUDGE ME BY STANDARDS YOU WISH NOT BE JUDGED BY

Have you ever wondered how easy children laugh, cry, love and forgive? they are so thrilled by the little things. They enjoy the bubbles and laugh at your laughter.
Why do we forget about these things as we grow older?
Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back and realise they were the big things – Kurt Vonnegut

There is an assumed desperation when a single female of “marriageable” age is single, why do we pressure ourselves and others into getting married? We forget so easily that marriage is not a competiton, it is not about who went in first.
