It’s 3 am and all I can think of is CLARITY. 2019 was the first-time clarity became a thing for me, May to be precise. I had a conversation with a friend and all she could talk about was the need for clarity in all that we do. You need to be clear on your goals in life, you need to be clear on what you want to achieve, if you are not certain what your target is, in whatever you do then you stand a chance of just waffling through life. And so, by the end of January 2020, I am still stuck on this clarity thing.
I am still as confused today about life as I was at the start of 2019, the roads to my destination still hold fogs at the end and there are loads of mirages on the way and that frustrates me, sometimes to the point of tears.
It’s almost like I can see but not quite (even with my glasses on). And I developed a very unhealthy fixation with the word CLARITY and not so much what it means. With that realization came a shift in my quest to find clarity.
So, what is CLARITY? What is the fuss about it? Why do we need it? Do we need it? Well here is what I know so far.
IT IS A JOURNEY – I had this preconceived notion that clarity can be sorted out by doing a couple of exercises and answering a host of questions and you know viola clarity lands on your head, lol I wish. And do not get me wrong, those questions and exercises help and they are vital but they are not magical, 9 out of 10 times you won’t have the answer to the questions and what you end up doing is writing down what you think your answer should be. We believe CLARITY is an instant thing, a location and stop a moment, I believe it is a journey, with growth and progress the fog clears up just a bit, each day you see better, know better, feel better, hear better. With experiences come understanding, which allows you to see with precision, which allows you to set better goals that allow you to do better. It is a marathon.

IT IS OKAY TO NOT KNOW – Listen, take this from me, it really is okay to not know what you are doing, it is okay to be confused, we all are at some point. I can understand the pressure to “NEED TO KNOW” as soon as possible, what with everyone doing their absolute best on social media and living life with precision and clarity, with everyone else seemingly living their best lives. But you need to calm down, relieve some of the pressure from your shoulders. You know when you are trying to study and you are stuck on that one line, so you read it 20 times and it just isn’t getting in and it almost seems like the harder you try the harder it is to sink in, yea that is how clarity is. Do not hold on too tight, choose a general direction and just keep going till you know better.
CLARITY IS A MUST HAVE.
But it is not what makes you.
Eventually, at some point in time, we all will have clarity on purpose, businesses, and life.
Just do not stand still waiting.
Keep going.
STAY SHINING. YOU ARE LOVED
