The past couple of months have been absolutely amazing and draining, fun and painful, notwithstanding said months have to go down as a personal favourite of mine, in the history of my life….😁
As someone who has not perfected the art of balance, it always throws me off when I need to multitask effectively; so I find somethings suffer and juggling becomes difficult, then sets in panic and overwhelm and \’life seems difficult\’ becomes the anthem of the day, and well the rest is history.
So I have decided to share the 5 ways I have learnt to deal with the distractions of life.
HOW TO DEAL WITH THE DISTRACTIONS OF LIFE.
1. Focus on one thing: It\’s not always possible to focus on just one thing at a time (life doesn\’t always work that way I know) but it helps to take things one at a time. It is better to have one complete than numerous halves.
2. Don\’t take life too seriously – it is a journey: Life is fun and sweet, you are well and alive, do not take yourself too seriously! Life is a journey, enjoy the ride. Stand up when you fall. Laugh too much and dance to nothing. Make memories. That is what life is about.
3. Do not be too hard on yourself: Stop putting yourself under undue pressure, you are the one in charge of your life. Stop making life difficult for yourself. You might not be where you want but you are not where you were. Appreciate your process, give yourself a pat on the back every now and again.
4. Learn to let go: When things do not go as planned, learn to let go. Worrying and feeling bad doesn\’t help you out, it weighs you down, puts you in a bad mood and distorts everything. We all need to let go of things we can\’t control.
5. Treat yourself right: Whatever you put into your body determines your output. Eat right, drink lots of water, sleep right, eat fruits and veggies. This also applies to the content you digest. What you read and hear contributes to what you say and do.
That being said I hope the distractions of life do not wear you down. And you achieve all you have set out to for yourself.
