The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart. – Helen Keller
Finally in October, is it just me or did September take forever? I do hope you all are doing well. I am fine thank you 😀. To kick off the new month I decided to post a good old poem, hope you enjoy it.
The black sparrow,
His wings like no other,
He wears the rainbows,
Unique by author’s choice,
Same by creation,
Becoming my obsession by the day,
He shows forth vibrant shade of red.
The black sparrow,
His wings like no other,
Compared to that of an eagle,
Yet far away to shield,
By distance,
By availability,
He shows forth vibrant shades of violet.
The black sparrow,
His wings like no other,
He flies through the fences,
Soaring higher and higher each day,
What is the obsession oh Sparrow?
The beauty in thy wings?
Or the vibrancy of thy soul?
The black sparrow,
His wings like no other,
Staring from afar as I click away,
Taking capture of what images, I see,
For the day soon to come,
Where all I have left will be these to fill my eyes.
A mere companion to the memories of my mind.
STAY SHINING LOVELIES
