Long time no poetry guys! Enjoy!

Invaded by the depths of cold thoughts,
Captured; held in mentally built chains, dangling, tight, not letting go,
Attracted to the appetizing feeling of peace it promises,
Stretched out hands, seemingly cold yet wrapped up in its warmth,
What more can I ask for?

An immeasurable pit formed within,
Gold, silver, money, certificates have I acquired, their effect like a drop of water in an ocean,
All that seems to give me joy is this thought;
\”My absence would feel like a cent lost from a trillion\”,
No one sees the lie in the curves my mouth shares,
Pathetic I call myself, waiting on a call even of sarcasm whispering at me not to go.

Who cares?
My departure will be but a blessing to those around as I burden them,
An eulogy for myself would be perfect as no one knew of my existence,
If I were dressed as a skyscraper, google would still write ‘no results found’,
Now dressed in my finest garment,
Decorated with the finest accessories there are,
Facial paints to elaborate and enhance the beauty everyone was so blind to see,
I lay peacefully,
Waiting patiently for the white light,
So sad those who have departed can’t tell the story of what happens next.
