“It is what you read when you don\’t have to that determines what you will be when you can\’t help it.”― Oscar Wilde
A short story of how I fell in love with reading books…. *dramatic under tone*
On this very wonderful day, (exact date unknown) dun dun dun!!! My father revealed a mini Ghana must go bag of books he had bought for me, some even before I was born. Yea, I know, he planned well (I like to think I was his back up plan since my brothers do not like reading books) Sha somehow I joined the book gang. Oh well all that unnecessary story was just to share my booklist for the coming year with you. You might find one appealing.
Born to crime: Stories from a south African childhood by Trevor Noah
Forever words: the unspoken poems by Johnny cash
Girls with sword by Lisa Bevere
Good or God? by John Bevere
I don\’t belong to you: Quiet the Noise and Find your Voice by Keke Palmer
Not dead yet: the autobiography by Phil Collins
The American Miracle: Divine Providence in the Rise of the Republic by Micheal Medved
The Holy Bible
The Seasoned Life: Food, Family, Faith and the Joy of eating Well by Ayesha Curry
To the Women I Once Loved by Pierre Jeanty
Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely by Lysa TerKeurst
Without Rival: Embrace Your Identity and Purpose in an Age of Confusion and Comparison by Lisa Bevere.
The list would definitely grow as we go into the year but this is the starter pack.
